BMX Sponsorship

Pushbikes are looking for a skilled, competitive, loyal BMX rider to join their sponsorship program. You will be an ambassador for Pushbikes, their brands and the sport.

You must have a high skill level, compete in events/jams, and the ability to promote and advertise.

You will need the following attributes,

1. Locally based (Christchurch)
2. High skill level
3. Knowledge of the sport and industry
4. Loyalty
5. Ability to promote sponsors
6. Knowledge of social media
7. Communication skills
8. Participation at jams and events

Part-time Salesperson

We’re currently looking for a Part-time Salesperson to join our Papanui team.

Responsibilities will include front line customer service, including sales, customer relations, store presentation, and some stock management. You must be a team player and be able to work to, and achieve sales targets.

Pushbikes works in a fast paced, ever changing environment that requires an individual who understands the daily pressure, pace and excitement that retail provides. If you’re looking to work in an industry that you’re passionate about, then this is for you.

To be successful in this position (he or she) will need to have some proven experience in retail ensuring you can hit the ground running. With the ability to deliver the highest level of service to our customers and be part of our team. Your passion for the cycle industry needs to extend to all areas of the sport, and having some proven knowledge of the industry will be helpful.

Working week will consist of weekend work – both Saturday & Sunday and flexible extra week days/hours, consisting of a minimum 20 hours per week. Pay will be in the form of a base hourly rate with additional sales commission.

Sunday Bunch Rides

Join the Warmup-Pushbikes bunch for a Sunday morning ride, leaving from our Papanui store at 9.00am. Anyone and everyone are welcome to join in – the ride is at an easy/moderate pace with a distance of around 70-100km. The normal route is around the back of McLean’s Island, Prebbleton, and Cashmere, with a coffee stop at Mudfish Cafe. Weather permitting - If it’s raining then it’s off - simple. If your unsure check the Pushbikes Facebook page for an update.

2012 End of the World BMX Jam

Join the crew from Pushbikes and Triple Six 10.00am to 5.00pm on Saturday 24th March at the Rangiora Skate Park. Lay it down in a chilled jam format, plenty of spot prizes up for grabs! The Monster Energy truck will be cranking the beats, and if you’re lucky you might get a free sticker. Sorry NO SCOOTERS! For more information contact Ben at the Rangiora store.
