2016 Giant Reign Advanced 1

Giant re-introduced the Reign for the 2015 model year (there was no Reign for 2014) after taking the time to make it perfect. With modern enduro geometry, it's long and low, built around 800mm wide bars and short stem and has a slack head angle with steep seat tube. It's basically a downhill bike that can still climb.

They're super popular, come spec'd really well and are backed by Giant's lifetime frame warranty. This year's colours are bright and lively. Check out our Reign Advanced 1.

They've changed the spec for 2016. Last year's Reign Advanced 1 had the nicer Reverb dropper post, but came with Shimano SLX 2x10 drivetrain. This year, you're getting a complete Shimano XT groupset with their new 1x11 drivetrain and Giant's new 125mm dropper. It's a well-rounded spec that makes more sense.

The carbon frame, XT 1x11 and the always-good Rockshox Pike makes this the best deal in the enduro market, all easily coming in under $6k.
