Commencal Meta SX

The brightest and loudest bike in the hills, this thing glows in the dark. I'd describe the colour as a bloody orange hot pink. Cameras and computers have no idea what to do with this colour, it must be seen in person. It looks fantastic.

The SX is Commencal's 160mm travel enduro bike. With a 65 degree head angle, it's long, low and slack as. It had 26" wheels up until now with the 2015 models adding the 27.5" option (26" frames are available). This particular one is an Essential 650b Limited Edition that comes with the Pike and all the good stuff, while skipping on the high-dollar carbon drivetrain parts that just add to the cost.

The frame is aluminium and there's heaps of it. Commencal was never too concerned with building super light frames. The focus is always on durability and craftsmanship with a high aesthetic quality. The pivot bearings are over-sized and pivot points even re-machined after the frame is welded for the least amount of binding through the suspension's travel. It all adds up to a stiff, reliable frame ready for anything. This medium weighed in at 14.30 kg.

We offer the Essential 650b in complete bike, frame only, frame & shock and also 26" frames. This Essential 650b complete will cost you $6,479.
