DESCRIPTION
You've just bought a new bike and realised you don't know the first thing about looking after it, or maybe you're already a bike owner and want to upskill your knowledge. Learn how to care for your own bike, prolong the life of expensive components and check for wear and tear.
- How to wash your bike correctly without damaging expensive parts
- Which parts of your bike you'll need to lubricate between services
- Which cleaners and lubricants you should be used to prolong your service intervals
- How to check over your bike, what to look for to ensure it's running in tip-top condition
- The service intervals and maintenance schedule for all components on your bike
Lessons are 1 hour in duration. Numbers are limited to ensure you get the best from them.
Courses are held at two of our locations, Papanui & Rangiora. Saturday courses start at 9:00 am, Sunday courses start at 10:15 am.

We offer free shipping on orders over $99 NZD*. Orders under this threshold incur a flat rate of $7.20**
*Excludes large or bulky items, which are charged between $25.00 and $100.00, depending on size, weight, and delivery location. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
**Rural delivery surcharge: An additional $6.00 is applied to rural addresses.
Click & Collect
Prefer to pick up your order? Select Click & Collect at checkout and collect from any Pushbikes store. Note: Some items may take 1 to 3 days to transfer between stores and up to 12 days for certain brands if the item is coming from our supplier. We'll notify you when your order is ready.
Delivery Time Frames
In-Stock Items:
For items in stock at our stores, expect delivery within 2 to 3 business days of order confirmation. Orders placed after 3pm will be processed the following business day. Please allow an additional 2 days for rural delivery.
From Supplier
Items shipped directly from our suppliers are usually dispatched within 5–7 business days. Some may take up to 12 business days, depending on the supplier. Estimated delivery times and stock location are shown for each product page above the add to cart button. Rural deliveries may take an extra 2 days.
Tracking Information
You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order has been dispatched. If you haven’t received tracking details within your expected delivery window, please contact us to confirm.
Shipping Bikes
Bikes cannot be shipped due to brand warranty and dealer policies. All bikes, including electric bikes, must be collected in store fully assembled. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us before ordering.
Processing of bikes for 'click & collect' can take up to 7 days if they need to be shipped from our suppliers or assembled in-store.
