Assistant Store Manager

An exciting opportunity now exists for a ‘Assistant Store Manager / Retail Focused Sales Professional’ for our busy Papanui bike shop.

In this position, you’ll actively work alongside the Manager taking joint ownership of the store and leading the team. Using your knowledge and passion you’ll be a key point of contact for our loyal customer base, upholding a superior level of customer service.

You’ll need to demonstrate,

  • History working in a retail environment
  • Experience in supervising, leading and motivating a team
  • Initiative to go the 'extra mile' for customers
  • Merchandising and maintaining store presentation
  • Show an understanding of the retail (cycling) consumer
  • Have a strong sales focus and the ability to think on your feet
  • Have good knowledge of the bicycle industry

Remuneration consists of a competitive salary, performance bonus, staff discounts and other incentives. Flexible full-time working week of 41.5 hours, Sunday through Thursday. Further future employment opportunities exist within this role.
