The Shimano Ultegra BR-R8110 side-pull brake impresses with a clear contact feeling and a well-balanced ratio between braking power, stiffness and low weight. The Direct Mount brake caliper owes this not least to the effective
SLR-EV
technology. Despite increased 28C tyre clearance, the rim brake features a decidedly slim design.
SLR-EV
The SLR-EV technology extends the Shimano Linear Response concept which aims for improved response and optimal dosing.
Symmetrical Dual Pivot side-pull brakes with SLR-EV system use two bearings and a roller to achieve greater efficiency in the joint area. However, SLR-EV also has a positive effect on the modulation of Direct Mount calipers, so that current models can boast a 36 % increase in braking force.

Delivery Time Frames
In-Stock Items:
For items in stock at our stores, expect delivery within 2 to 3 business days of order confirmation. Orders placed after 3pm will be processed the following business day. Please allow an additional 2 days for rural delivery.
From Supplier
Items shipped directly from our suppliers are usually dispatched within 5–7 business days. Some may take up to 12 business days, depending on the supplier. Estimated delivery times and stock location are shown for each product page above the add to cart button. Rural deliveries may take an extra 2 days.
Tracking Information
You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order has been dispatched. If you haven’t received tracking details within your expected delivery window, please contact us to confirm.
Shipping Bikes
Bikes cannot be shipped due to brand warranty and dealer policies. All bikes, including electric bikes, must be collected in store fully assembled. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us before ordering.
Processing of bikes for 'click & collect' can take up to 7 days if they need to be shipped from our suppliers or assembled in-store.
