The Sonic/Ergo is designed to present minimal frontal area to create as little aerodynamic drag as possible. The main purpose of an aerobar is, of course, to get the rider into a fast position and, despite a fairly minimalist appearance, the Sonic/Ergo offers a comprehensive fit range for exactly this purpose.

Since the Supersonic (J5) was released as a premium bracket with market-leading fit options and versatility, Profile Design wanted to bring similar options to the rest of their range of brackets and aerobars. By simplifying the extension clamp and shifting the wing forward to the bar centreline, they were able to meet their targets. As a consequence of this simplification, the Sonic is the lightest of Profile Design's current brackets.
The Ergo armrest shares the flippable design of the rest of their new generation armrests. By swapping sides or rotating the armrests smaller increments of movement are achieved – making it simple to fine tune a rider's position or match the position from their previous aerobar or bike.
Extensions
The 4525a extensions have a first section at 45deg and the grip at 25deg. They also have a 7.5mm lateral shift per side (15mm total) to allow fine tuning of the grip width. They are 400mm and cables exit from end of extension.

Shipping Bikes
- Giant, LIV, and Norco bikes are not eligible for shipping due to brand warranty and dealer policies. These must be collected in-store, fully assembled.
- Electric bikes cannot be shipped due to Dangerous Goods restrictions (lithium batteries). These are available for Click & Collect only.
- Other bikes can be shipped with the following rates:
- Kids bikes: $25.00
- Standard bikes: $75.00
Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout. If your bike falls outside this standard pricing (e.g., large-size mountain bikes or freight to remote areas), we may adjust the shipping cost. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us before ordering.
Processing of bikes can take up to 7 days if they are needing to be shipped from our suppliers.
