DESCRIPTION
Maxxis introduces the brand new Reaver gravel tyre: A race-ready tread pattern that maintains the confidence level of a meatier gravel tyre without sacrificing rolling speed.
The tread design uses diamond knurling to reduce rolling resistance and enhance grip in dusty or loose conditions. Paddle knobs arranged in sets of three provide extra bite under hard braking, while the side knobs are spaced closely together and are staggered for consistent cornering performance. A sipe (groove) in each of the side knobs allows them to flex and conform to the terrain, improving traction.
Compared to the venerable Rambler, the Reaver is faster rolling, lighter and has higher puncture resistance in the tread area. In mixed conditions or deeper gravel, the Rambler is more versatile, but if off-road speed is priority number one, the Reaver is the clear choice.

We offer free shipping on orders over $99 NZD*. Orders under this threshold incur a flat rate of $7.20**
*Excludes large or bulky items, which are charged between $25.00 and $100.00, depending on size, weight, and delivery location. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
**Rural delivery surcharge: An additional $6.00 is applied to rural addresses.

Delivery Time Frames
In-Stock Items:
Orders for items in stock at our store are dispatched within 1–2 business days (weekdays) of payment. Orders placed after 3 pm will be processed the following business day. Please allow an additional 2 days for rural delivery.
From Supplier
Items shipped directly from our suppliers are usually dispatched within 2–4 business days. Some may take up to 8 business days, depending on the supplier. Estimated delivery times are shown on each product page. Rural deliveries may take an extra 2 days.
Tracking Information
You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order has been dispatched. If you haven’t received tracking details within your expected delivery window, please contact us to confirm.
Shipping Bikes
- Giant, LIV, and Norco bikes are not eligible for shipping due to brand warranty and dealer policies. These must be collected in-store, fully assembled.
- Electric bikes cannot be shipped due to Dangerous Goods restrictions (lithium batteries). These are available for Click & Collect only.
- Other bikes can be shipped with the following rates:
- Kids bikes: $25.00
- Standard bikes: $75.00
Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout. If your bike falls outside this standard pricing (e.g., large-size mountain bikes or freight to remote areas), we may adjust the shipping cost. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us before ordering.
Processing of bikes can take up to 7 days if they are needing to be shipped from our suppliers.
