Ultegra R8100 - Leave Time Behind
When developing the Ultegra R8100 series, Shimano took a holistic and 100 % performance-oriented approach, because great speed means great responsibility. Faster than ever before, the 12-speed road groupset scores with unparalleled control and comfort anytime and anywhere - whether in an everyman race, on the hunt for a personal best time or on a companionable ride.
As with the Dura Ace R9200, not only does Hyperglide+ make its way into the Ultegra's components, also its Di2 parts rely on Wireless technology to simplify operation and ensure smooth shifting.
Shimano Ultegra Di2 ST-R8150 STI brake/shift lever
Compared to the disc brake version, the Ultegra ST-R8150 dual control levers rely entirely on a secure cable connection and the low weight of a rim brake system.
In terms of ergonomics and shifting performance, the STI levers are in no way inferior to their disc brake counterparts. The clearly defined click-feel of the shifting aids not only ensures intuitive, but also fast gear changes. The optimised shaping and surface structure of the horns and brake levers guarantee outstanding grip and excellent braking power transmission. Of course, for individual adjustment, the levers feature the option of reach adjustment.
For numerous customisation and configuration options, compatibility with the improved
E-Tube Project
app, which, like previous versions, allows you to adjust shift modes (Synchro-/Semi-Synchro-Shift, Multi-Shift), shift speed and button assignment on the fly. For connection to the BT-DN300 battery and use of additional shifters in the drops or the top of the handlebar (each sold separately), the Shimano ST-R9250 dual control levers feature 2 cable connections.

Synchronized Shifting
Shimano's Synchro-Shift technology simplifies shifting immensely and significantly reduces the amount of decision-making processes that take place while riding.
Especially in decisive racing situations or when driving at the limit, drivers often have to complete a large number of decision-making processes in addition to the physical strain, which are then frequently disturbed and lead to wrong decisions. The fewer decision-making processes there are, the better decisions are made and the more attention is kept on the race. This is exactly what the Synchro-Shift technology makes possible, always selecting the optimal next higher or next lower gear ratio combination, regardless of whether the rear and / or front derailleur are used for this purpose.
In addition to the conventional manual mode, in which the front and rear derailleurs are controlled independently of each other, Synchro-Shift offers two further modes: Full Synchro-Shift |The front derailleur responds to the shifts made by the rider on the rear derailleur. Essentially, this means that only one shift lever with two shifters is needed to shift the rear derailleur and front derailleur.
Semi Synchro-Shift |
The rear derailleur responds to the shifts made by the rider on the front derailleur. In doing so, the rear derailleur automatically provides the necessary compensation shifting for low cadence jumps when shifting up or down at the front derailleur.

Delivery Time Frames
Normal delivery
In-store items are shipped in 2-3 business days (weekdays) from payment. Please allow up to an extra 2 days for rural delivery. Orders placed after 3pm are not processed or dispatched until the next business day (weekday).
From Supplier
Items from most suppliers are shipped within 2 to 4 business days. Certain suppliers, can take up to 8 business days to ship, see the estimated delivery times on the product page for further info. If you are rural please allow up to an extra 2 days for delivery.
Tracking Information
You'll receive a tracking number once the order has left to ensure you know where this is every step of the way. If you haven't received this within your expected delivery time then please contact us to confirm.
Shipping Bikes
Giant, LIV and Norco branded bikes cannot be shipped. They must be picked up at the store. This is part of their warranty conditions and Pushbikes dealer agreements. We're happy to process the order through the website, but you'll need to collect the bike fully assembled in-store.
All electric bikes are unable to be shipped due to the weight and lithium batteries being classed as Dangerous Goods. The shopping cart will only give 'Click & Collect' options for these.
Bikes that are shippable are generally charged at $25.00 for kids bikes and $75.00 for standard bikes. This will automatically calculate at the checkout.
We withhold the right to adjust the freight charge for any bikes that fall outside of this criteria, on a case by case basis, please contact us if you would like further info on shipping a bike.
Processing of bikes can take up to 7 days if they are needing to be shipped from our suppliers.
Free Freight
We offer free freight on all orders over $130.00 in value*, and only $7.20 for orders under this. Regardless of the size and weight of your order we want to deliver the best value with no hidden fees. *This excludes larger items, which are charged at a rate of $25.00 to $100.00 dependent on size and weight. Rural addresses include a rural delivery fee.
Larger Items
Larger and or bulky items which carry more weight, like, bike racks, smart trainers and wheels, are charged at a starting rate of $25.00 up to $100.00, dependent on size and weight. This will automatically calculate at the checkout.
Click & Collect
Order online and collect from either of Pushbikes stores. If you're wanting to collect your order in store, please note that some items are drop shipped from our suppliers, and may not be ready for collection straight away.
Pre-Ordered Items
Delivery time frames for Pre-Ordered items are an estimate on the delivery window given buy our suppliers or logistics agent. Currently due to Covid-19 related delays dates can change, if this happens we'll contact you to advise. Items are shipped or completed ready for 'Click & Collect' once they become available.
