Get prepared for the Bays Cycle Challenge with a free training plan

Need a cycling challenge?

The Bays Cycle Challenge is a 78km road race around the Christchurch bays on Sunday the 4th November. The event is designed for both those wanting to race or complete as an accomplishment.

Leaving from Lincoln and racing around the Bays into Lyttleton Harbour, the event covers Corsair Bay, Gebbies Pass and then finishes back in Lincoln.

In preparation for the event, we've created a free base training plan, which is designed to help you build enough of a base with improvements in both leg strength and pedalling efficiency.

You can choose between either an intermediate or beginner program based on heart rate or power.
