CST Bike Tyres

CST (Cheng Shin Tire) is one of the largest tyre manufacturers in the world, producing a comprehensive range of bicycle tyres that cover road, mountain bike, commuter and urban applications. With decades of manufacturing experience and the scale to invest in compound and casing development, CST delivers genuine quality at a price that makes upgrading or replacing tyres straightforward.

Why Choose CST?

CST tyres offer NZ riders a reliable, well-made option across a broad range of applications without the premium pricing of boutique brands. Whether you need a durable commuter tyre, a confident trail tyre or a fast road option, CST covers the need with tyres manufactured to consistent quality standards.

Road Tyres

CST's road tyre range provides smooth, low-rolling-resistance options for road cyclists who want a reliable tyre at a sensible price. With a range of widths to suit different rim sizes and riding preferences, CST road tyres are a practical choice for training bikes, commuters and cyclists who go through tyres regularly on NZ's roads.

Mountain Bike Tyres

CST's MTB range covers cross-country, trail and enduro applications with tread patterns suited to NZ's varied trail conditions. Tubeless-ready options are available across the range, allowing NZ trail riders to benefit from lower pressures and improved flat resistance without moving to higher-priced alternatives.

Commuter and Urban Tyres

For everyday urban riding, CST's commuter tyres offer puncture protection, durable compounds and reflective sidewall options that suit riding on NZ's city streets. Practical, long-lasting and priced to make tyre replacement a straightforward decision rather than a major expense.

E-Bike Specific Tyres

CST produces tyres specifically designed for e-bikes, with reinforced casings and compounds that handle the additional torque and weight of electric-assisted bikes. As e-bikes grow in popularity across NZ, having a tyre rated for e-bike use provides meaningful longevity and confidence.

Value and Reliability

The combination of CST's manufacturing scale and experience means NZ riders get a consistently made tyre that performs to expectations. A strong choice for anyone who needs quality without paying premium brand pricing - whether for a fleet bike, a first build or a reliable spare set.
