DESCRIPTION
The Tempt E+ 2 EX takes Liv's light electric hardtail and equips it for everyday use. You get the same SyncDrive Sport 2 motor with 75Nm of torque and the same removable 430Wh EnergyPak, with a MIK-compatible rear rack, an integrated kickstand and Recon front and Axa rear lights fitted from new. The 100mm SR Suntour XCM fork and 2.4in Maxxis Rekon tyres mean it still works properly off-road, so a weekday commute and a weekend gravel ride can happen on the same bike. E-Lock remote locking and Apple Find My compatibility are built in, which is worth having when the bike spends time locked up around town.

Who Is the Liv Tempt E+ 2 EX For?
This is the commuting and everyday version of the Tempt E+. If your riding is a mix of getting to work, carrying shopping and heading out on gravel or easy trails at the weekend, the EX saves you buying and fitting a rack and lights separately, and everything is integrated rather than bolted on afterwards.
New Zealand weather and short winter days make fitted lights and a proper rack genuinely useful rather than optional. The MIK system means panniers and baskets clip on and off without tools, and the 430Wh battery covers a typical daily commute with room to spare.
