DESCRIPTION
The Tempt E+ 2 is Liv's light electric hardtail, built for riders who want assistance without a bike that feels like a motorbike to handle. The ALUXX aluminium frame uses an integrated head tube with fewer welds, which keeps weight down and gives it a cleaner look, and the removable 430Wh EnergyPak sits inside a slim down tube. The SyncDrive Sport 2 motor delivers 75Nm of torque through PedalPlus six-sensor assistance, and an SR Suntour XCM fork gives 100mm of travel on a 15x110 thru-axle. Liv fits size-specific wheels, 27.5in on XS and S and 29in on M and L, along with an E-Lock system and Apple Find My support that will matter if the bike is ever left outside a New Zealand café or office.

Who Is the Liv Tempt E+ 2 For?
This suits a rider who wants one electric bike for trails, gravel and the commute. A hardtail is simpler to look after than a full-suspension e-MTB, and the lower weight makes a real difference when you are lifting the bike onto a car rack or pushing it up a step at home.
The security features are a practical argument for it in New Zealand. Being able to lock the bike from the app, track it with Find My and get an alert if it moves takes some of the worry out of leaving an expensive bike anywhere. The 430Wh battery covers a typical commute or an evening trail ride, and the range extender is there for bigger days.
