DESCRIPTION
The Liv Pique Advanced SL 2 is a downcountry full-suspension bike for women who want cross-country speed without giving up trail capability. Its Advanced SL-grade composite frame is Liv's lightest, pairing 120mm of FlexPoint Pro rear travel with a 130mm Fox 34 SL fork, so it climbs like an XC race bike but holds its line when the descent gets rough. A two-position flip chip and in-frame storage make it adaptable for everything from club racing to all-day backcountry missions on the Port Hills or in Whakarewarewa.
Key Features
- Advanced SL-grade composite frame, Liv's lightest, with internal down tube storage
- 120mm FlexPoint Pro rear suspension matched to a 130mm Fox 34 SL Performance fork
- Two-position flip chip to tune geometry for climbing or descending
- SRAM Eagle 90 T-Type 1x12 transmission with a 10-52 cassette
- Shimano SLX 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes for confident control
- Giant XCA 29 alloy WheelSystem with Maxxis Rekon and Rekon Race tyres
- Contact Switch AT dropper post with adjustable travel
- Tubeless prepared with MRP 1x chain guide
Who Is the Liv Pique Advanced SL 2 For?
This bike suits the rider chasing fast laps and long days, the one who lines up for XC races but also rides for the joy of a flowing descent. The light frame and efficient suspension reward strong climbing, while the 130mm fork and dropper post give you room to push on technical trails.
For New Zealand riders, downcountry geometry makes sense. One bike covers Saturday singletrack, summer trail missions and the occasional race plate, and the Advanced SL frame with women's-specific touchpoints keeps it comfortable over the long hauls our trails are known for.
