Note: This Madone SLR 7 is a Trek Project One build, so what's pictured and specced below is the starting base, not a fixed package. Crank length, bar/stem length, tyre choice, saddle and colour can all be tailored to your fit and riding. Get in touch and our team will help you build the exact bike that's right for you.
The Trek Madone SLR 7 runs the same 900 Series OCLV Carbon aero race platform as the flagship SLR 9, with a full Shimano Ultegra Di2 wireless groupset in place of Dura-Ace. You still get the Full System Foil tube shaping, IsoFlow seat tube comfort and Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51 carbon wheels that make the Madone one of the fastest bikes in the pack, just at Ultegra-level running costs. For NZ riders after a genuine race-calibre aero bike without stretching to Dura-Ace, the SLR 7 is the value entry point into the Madone SLR range.

Who Is the Madone SLR 7 For?
The Madone SLR 7 suits club racers and serious fitness riders who want the Madone's aero and weight advantages without needing Dura-Ace's last few grams and marginal shift speed. Ultegra Di2 gives you the same 12-speed wireless shifting logic and E-Tube app tuning as Dura-Ace, built to a more sensible budget.
It's a strong fit for NZ club racing, gran fondos, and long training rides where you want an aero platform that won't punish you on longer days. The Aeolus Pro 51 wheels are a genuine step up from alloy or entry carbon wheels without the RSL price tag, and 51mm depth handles the crosswinds you get on exposed roads. Being a Project One build, crank length, bar width, tyre and colour are all yours to specify before it's built.
