Pirelli€™s experience and the reliability of SmartNET Silica technology combined with the tubless-ready comfort and the resistance of the Armour Tech technology facilitated the creation of a new clincher tyre with a unique DNA, perfect for long-distances and various terrains:
- Armour Tech construction combines a Nylon bead-to-bead high density layer to an aramid breaker and aramid fibers dispersed into the tread, resulting in a new level of protection against the worst road conditions which has never been achieved before
- SmartNET Silica rubber compound guarantees safe rides and confidence-inspiring handling even in harsh conditions
Made from our innovative SmartNET Silica and ICS and FGD technologies, Cinturato provides all-round cycling excellence. Thanks to its nano-rod conformation and the resulting network generation, coupled with the natural chemical water affinity of the Silica itself, it solves the traditional trade-off of rubber compounds, ranking high on opposite features such as rolling and wet grip, mileage and puncture protection.
An aramid fibre belt located underneath the tread in order to protect the casing from sharp objects: aramid is a fibre with high cut and abrasion resistance. Its light weight and flexibility also ensure rolling efficiency and overall performance of the tyre.
A high density nylon layer belt extended from one bead to the other, all the way around the casing and underneath the tread and an aramid breaker, to protect the casing from sharp objects and provide support for low pressure riding: Nylon is a fibre with high cut and abrasion resistance and high tensile strength. Its lightweight nature and high density also helps make the tyre air tight combined with sealant use in tubeless-ready configuration.
A specific shape of the bead profile which matches with tubeless-ready rim hooks, plus a specific bead material and specification that allows for easy mounting with the inner tube while keeping proper tubeless bead engagement if used with a sealant in a fully tubeless ready configuration.

Developed over a 60 tpi casing, our tread features Pirelli Functional Design Groove and Ideal Contour Shaping technologies: the casing textile is designed to match contour for optimal footprint, while a different crown and sidewall radius guarantee controlled and specific tyre deformation at different speeds and lean angles. On top of this, our lightning bolt groove design, derived from our experience in motorbike racing tyre design, adds optimal water drainage at different angles and force loads, while ensuring low noise output and quick warm up times, for immediate maximum grip levels..

We offer free shipping on orders over $99 NZD*. Orders under this threshold incur a flat rate of $7.20**
*Excludes large or bulky items, which are charged between $25.00 and $100.00, depending on size, weight, and delivery location. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

Delivery Time Frames
In-Stock Items:
Orders for items in stock at our store are dispatched within 1–2 business days (weekdays) of payment. Orders placed after 3 pm will be processed the following business day. Please allow an additional 2 days for rural delivery.
From Supplier
Items shipped directly from our suppliers are usually dispatched within 2–4 business days. Some may take up to 8 business days, depending on the supplier. Estimated delivery times are shown on each product page. Rural deliveries may take an extra 2 days.

You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order has been dispatched. If you haven’t received tracking details within your expected delivery window, please contact us to confirm.
Shipping Bikes
- Giant, LIV, and Norco bikes are not eligible for shipping due to brand warranty and dealer policies. These must be collected in-store, fully assembled.
- Electric bikes cannot be shipped due to Dangerous Goods restrictions (lithium batteries). These are available for Click & Collect only.
- Other bikes can be shipped with the following rates:
- Kids bikes: $25.00
- Standard bikes: $75.00
Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout. If your bike falls outside this standard pricing (e.g., large-size mountain bikes or freight to remote areas), we may adjust the shipping cost. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us before ordering.
Processing of bikes can take up to 7 days if they are needing to be shipped from our suppliers.
