With the mechanical 12-speed components of the 105 series, Shimano offers a shifting system for the most diverse types of road cyclists. The RD-R7100 rear derailleur combines the harmonious, consistent and nevertheless responsive shifting behavior of the Shadow RD design with Direct Mount compatibility and a wider ratio range. Depending on the selected crankset and cassette, the Top Normal rear derailleur also enables energy-saving transmission with a ratio of less than 1:1, which is ideal for climbing and supports the rider when climbing even steep ramps.
Shadow RD | With their sophisticated technology, Shimano Shadow RD rear derailleurs are especially intended for more aggressive riding style. Their super low profile design carries many benefits.
