The Shimano STEPS BT-E8036 is a 630 Wh down-tube integrated battery purpose-built for the STEPS e-bike system. Its slim, flat profile allows frame designers to build sleeker downtubes without compromising capacity, and its 1st-generation STEPS battery management system retains at least 60% of original capacity even after 1000 full charge cycles.
