Shimano Deore XT RD-M8130-SGS Shadow RD Rear Derailleur
The Shimano Deore XT RD-M8130-SGS rear derailleur achieves smooth and reliable shifting performance thanks to LinkGlide technology. Like its sister models, however, it still enables fast and precise gear changes over a wide transmission range.
A secure and stable chainline prevents the chain from jumping off on rough Trails in the mountains. The guide and tension pulleys with 13 teeth and sealed bearings as well as a rubber damper also provide more stability, which also dampens noise and thus increases riding comfort.
The MTB-optimised rear derailleur with a flat profile is suitable for 1x11-speed drivetrain systems and matched to the E-Bike components of the Shimano STePS EP800 series.
LinkGlide
LinkGlide enables smoother, smoother pedalling and gear changes that are barely noticeable. The drivetrain is exceptionally durable, withstands daily wear and tear and provides long-lasting good shifting and pedalling performance, especially for multi-purpose bikes and high-torque E-Bikes.
The
optimised design of the LinkGlide shift aids
provides a smoother transition between sprockets to avoid jumps that can affect shifting and a rounded pedal. The
redesigned LinkGlide sprockets
themselves feature a much stronger base and a unique chamfer that dramatically improves wear resistance in high torque applications.
