DESCRIPTION
Note: This Domane SLR 9 AXS 1x is a Trek Project One build, so what's pictured and specced below is the starting base, not a fixed package. Crank length, bar/stem length, tyre choice, saddle and colour can all be tailored to your fit and riding. Get in touch and our team will help you build the exact bike that's right for you.
The Trek 2027 Domane SLR 9 AXS 1x is Trek's lightest and most minimalist Domane build, dropping to a single-ring SRAM RED 1x13 XPLR drivetrain and an aero-focused Trek Aero RSL integrated bar/stem, the same cockpit used on the Madone. Built from the same ultralight 900 Series OCLV Carbon frame as the rest of the SLR range, it pairs with Bontrager Aeolus RSL 37 carbon wheels for a build that weighs just 6.63kg while keeping Domane's endurance comfort and long-distance capability. It's the pick for riders chasing an aggressive, race-like position without stepping away from an endurance frame.
Key Features
- 900 Series OCLV Carbon frame, Trek's lightest Domane frameset

- Bontrager Aeolus RSL 37 OCLV Carbon wheels, tubeless ready
- Pirelli P Zero Race RS 700x28mm tyres, tubeless ready
- Tyre clearance up to 40mm despite the aero-focused build
- Lightest Domane build in the range at 6.63kg
- Relaxed endurance geometry with a more aggressive, aero-tuned front end
Who Is the Domane SLR 9 AXS 1x For?
The Domane SLR 9 AXS 1x is built for riders who want an endurance frame's comfort and long-distance pedigree but prefer a simpler, lighter 1x drivetrain and a more aggressive, aero-focused riding position. It suits experienced riders chasing speed on long solo efforts, fast group rides or events where a single chainring's simplicity is an advantage.
The integrated Aero RSL cockpit and 13-speed XPLR range give wide enough gearing for NZ's climbs while keeping the bike aero on the flats, and the 6.63kg build weight makes it noticeably quicker uphill than the rest of the SLR range. As a Project One build, saddle, bar width, crank length and colour can all be tailored to your exact fit.
