Shimano Ultegra BR-R8100 rim brake
The Shimano Ultegra BR-R8100 side-pull brake impresses with a clear contact feeling and a well-balanced ratio between braking power, stiffness and low weight. The brake caliper owes this to a sophisticated Dual Pivot construction as well as SLR-EV technology. Despite increased 28C tyre clearance, the rim brake features a decidedly slim design.
SLR-EV
The SLR-EV technology extends the Shimano Linear Response concept which aims for improved response and optimal dosing.
Symmetrical Dual Pivot side-pull brakes with SLR-EV system use two bearings and a roller to achieve greater efficiency in the joint area. However, SLR-EV also has a positive effect on the modulation of Direct Mount calipers, so that current models can boast a 36 % increase in braking force.

For items in stock at our stores, expect delivery within 2 to 3 business days of order confirmation. Orders placed after 3pm will be processed the following business day. Please allow an additional 2 days for rural delivery.
From Supplier
Items shipped directly from our suppliers are usually dispatched within 5–7 business days. Some may take up to 12 business days, depending on the supplier. Estimated delivery times and stock location are shown for each product page above the add to cart button. Rural deliveries may take an extra 2 days.
